The concept of "Territorial Integrity" (Tamamiyat-e Arzi) has been the cornerstone of every Iranian regime, from the Pahlavi Monarchy to the Islamic Republic. However, a deeper analysis reveals that this term is not used to protect a nation, but to mask the internal colonization of non-Persian nations, specifically the Kurds in Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat).

The Economic Plunder: Oil, Gas, and Human Cost
The Iranian state's survival depends on the natural resources located in the "periphery"—Kurdistan, Al-Ahwaz, and Balochistan.
The Extraction: While the oil, gas, and minerals are extracted from Kurdish soil to fuel the central Persian provinces, the Kurdish people receive nothing in return but poverty, militarization, and executions.
The Paradox: As Jihangir Alee Mala poses the fundamental question: “If the capital of Iran were in Sanandaj or Mahabad, and the official language were Kurdish, would the Persian elites still champion 'Territorial Integrity''?”
The answer is a definitive No.
This proves that "integrity" is only sacred as long as it ensures "Persian Supremacy."

The Theft of History: Erasing the Medes
Beyond economic plunder, there is a systematic Intellectual Genocide. The history of the Medes—the direct ancestors of the Kurds—is being systematically "Persianized" in school curricula and universities. This historical revisionism aims to strip the Kurdish nation of its ancient identity to justify central rule.

From Khomeini’s Fatwa to Pahlavi’s Threats: Two Sides of the Same Coin
The transition from the Monarchy to the Islamic Republic changed the rhetoric but not the objective:
1979: Ruhollah Khomeini issued a "Fatwa of Jihad" against the Kurdish people, leading to a decade of massacres and technical genocide.
2026: Reza Pahlavi, the son of the former Shah, despite living in the West for 47 years, continues the same legacy.
His recent statements inciting Persians against the Kurds under the label of "Separatists" (Tazieh-talab) are a clear call for ethnic cleansing. ### A Legal Warning: Incitement to Violence

Reza Pahlavi’s recent calls for the elimination of Kurdish political movements constitute a violation of international law. Inciting one ethnic group to commit violence against another is a crime under the Rome Statute. It exposes a deep-seated political immaturity in the Persian political elite, who—whether monarchist or Islamist—remain trapped in the logic of racial superiority.

Conclusion
Territorial integrity cannot be built on gallows and stolen history. The Kurdish struggle is not about "stealing land," but about reclaiming stolen identity and resources. The international community must recognize that the "stability" of Iran is a myth built on the systematic oppression of the Kurds, Azeris, Balochis, and Arabs.
