29-12-2020 - Lisa Falak al-Din Kakayi, a member of the Finance Committee in the Kurdistan Parliament, told (Kurdistan24) on the issue of Baghdad's payment of salaries and financial concessions to the Kurdistan Region: “Despite this, Baghdad has not yet adhered to the implementation of the agreement.”
She added that in today's meeting of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) with Baghdad, which was held in the Kurdistan Parliament to present the details of the talks, Ghobad Talabani, Chairman of the KRG and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, stated that the KRG problem with Baghdad is not only financial but  It is a big political problem.
The member of the Finance Committee in the Kurdistan Parliament stressed that “the political problem of the climate with Baghdad has deepened and poses a great threat to the Kurdistan Region.” She added: “The regional government and the federal government are ready to implement the agreement between them, but the currents in the Iraqi House of Representatives are blocking the implementation of the agreement”.
Based on an agreement between the KRG and the federal government on the KRG's share of the Iraqi budget, the KRG is ready to deliver 250,000 barrels of oil per day and half of the federal revenue to Baghdad in exchange for the KRG's share of the budget. 
Iraq has shown, but political experts believe that the mainstream currents in the Iraqi House of Representatives have repeatedly stalled opposition to the agreement and used it as a lever of pressure to weaken the political structure of the Kurdistan Region.
