EU allocates 15 million euros for Afghan returnees

30-10-2023 - The European Union announced Sunday it has allocated an additional 15 million euros for Afghans returning to their country.EU in Afghanistan in a post on X said that together the International Organization for Migration, “we want to assure that returnees feel safe & can access the support they need to feel home.”
This comes as there has been a sharp increase in Afghans leaving Pakistan after it announced crackdown on illegal migrants.
